All work is complete, please open a ticket if you have any issues after checking to make sure no ISO's are mounted within solusvm.

email sent to all customers below:

Following the recent significant security issues with intel processors all physical servers need to be updated and rebooted.

This will take place between 09:00 and 18:00 on Tuesday the 21st May 2019

Due to the scale of this operation is is not possible to give exact times.

The goal is to cause less than 30 minutes disruption per customer.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would take the time between now and then to reboot your VPS via solusvm (not via ssh) if you are a VPS customer so that any configuration issues can be dealt with in isolation.

It is very common for customers to leave ISO's mounted after install that no longer exist, this will prevent your VPS from auto booting as the ISO is saved within the configuration file for your VPS, if it no longer exists it will fail to boot.

An announcement will be put up in the client area here: https://clients.inceptionhosting.com/announcements.php so that you can track progress when the work starts.

Thank you for your understanding, this is a none option security update that is taking place industry wide.
