The issues on VZ23 (USA - Phoenix - OpenVZ 7) are known.

A container has gone in to an unkillable loop generating a huge amount of disk iops, this is causing significant load for other containers/vps on the server.

Attempts are being made to remedy this now without having to do a full reboot, if it is not possible to fix this in place then a full reboot will be done.

Update: 10:25am - 22nd March (UK/London time)

It has become apparent that the amount of time it could take to resolve this in place would likely far exceed the time it will take to simply stop all containers and reboot the server.

It is possible that some of the servers will not automatically boot after the reboot, this impacts those that were migrated from OpenVZ 6, a manual boot from the control panel may be required.
