Just a quick note to let everyone know the cPanel server was rebooted after an update and upgrade, this was a controlled restart due to important patching.
As per the 2 previous emails this server is going down at 11:00am Miami Time, (16:00 GMT+0 UK time) everything should be completed within 30 minutes, updates will be posted here should any issues arise.
The work is complete, virtual servers are now booting.
I have been made aware of the issues with node8 A cold restart is needed as the server has become unresponcive, although some of the VM's are still reachable most are going down, obviously this needs to be fixed, sorry for the inconvenience, work is in progress. An alert just came through regarding the network issues in Phoenix, there is massive latency right now, the NOC have been contacted for further details updates will be put here as more is known.
UPDATE: This was due to a big DDOS attack which was quickly mitigated.
