Email sent to all impacted customers below, should anything go off plan or change updates will be put here.

There have been some issues with stability on VZ31ams since the initial migration and upgrade. They are starting to present again just 30 days after the previous maintenance, as a result, we are planning to stand up additional hardware in the same configuration as all other OpenVZ nodes (VZ31ams is unique) that have been completely stable in the hopes that this will finally create complete stability for VZ31ams.

As this is starting to impact multiple customers it is considered emergency maintenance however due to the pandemic access to the data canter is quite restrictive and as such it is not likely that we can move as fast as normal so we are setting a time of 14:00 tomorrow (UK/London) to move VZ31ams to new hardware, this will have you offline for around 1 hour however to give us some flexibility the maintenance window is 2 hours.

On the 16th of April between 14:00 - 16:00 availability of your container on VZ31ams will be limited.

This ONLY impacts those on VZ31ams, if you are on any other Netherlands OpenVZ node this does not impact you at all, if you are unsure you can log into the VPS control panel, select your VPS (Manage), and then in the top left panel at the bottom you will see 'Node'.

I hoped that this brings long-term stability back to the service on VZ31ams

Thank you for your understanding.

Update-1: 14:27 - Unfortunately due to some complications getting some Customer containers to cleanly shut down the data move has been delayed by around 30 minutes. Every effort will be made to stick to the maintenance window, updates will follow but it is likely to be closer to the 16:00 time frame now than the 15:00 initially predicted.

Update-2: 15:38 - based on best estimates we believe service will be restored by 16:20 (UK/London)

Update-2: 16:12 - The work is now complete.

Update-2: 16:23 - There are issues with containers starting we are investigating.

Update-2: 16:26 - Containers are now starting.
